For the original repo, please refer to: https://github.com/shundhammer/qdirstat\n\n## Screenshot\n\n![Screenshot](./screenshots/QDirStat-main-win.png)\n\n## Overview\n\nQDirStat is a graphical application to show where your disk space has gone and\nto help you to clean it up.\n\nIt shows the total size of directories and of their files both in a traditional\ntree view and in a colored treemap graphics where a large\nfile is shown as a large rectangle, and small files are shown as small\nrectangles. Click on it, and you will see where in the tree the file is, and\nyou can instantly move it to the trash if you like. The color corresponds to\nthe file type: Images, videos or whatever.\n\n## Install\n\n### Via Homebrew\n\n```shell\nbrew install --cask qdirstat\n```\n\n### Via dmg file\n\n- Download the latest QDirStat dmg file from the [releases page](https://github.com/jesusha123/qdirstat-macos/releases) \n- Open the dmg file and drag QDirStat.app to the Applications folder\n\n## Permissions\n\nmacOS requires explicit permission to access certain directories.\n\n- User Directories (e.g., Documents, Downloads): You will be asked to grant access only once.\n- System Directories: macOS may prompt you for permission every time you scan.\n\nTo avoid repeated prompts and ensure QDirStat can scan your entire drive without interruption, we recommend checking Full Disk Access:\n\n1. Open **System Settings**.\n2. Navigate to **Privacy \u0026 Security** \u003e **Full Disk Access**.\n3. Add **QDirStat** to the list and toggle the switch.\n",
