In order to not damage your machine, smcFanControl does not let you set a minimum speed to a value below Apple\u0027s defaults.\n\n![My image](https://www.eidac.de/smc_screenshot.png)\n\n\n## Installing it using Homebrew \u0026 Cask\n\nMake sure you have both [Homebrew](http://brew.sh/) and [Cask](https://caskroom.github.io/) installed.
